Our client is seeking a Software Engineer for its 'Tech' team. It is a small group that empowers and supports our client through the development of custom software and business intelligence solutions.
The Software Engineer will support the development of applications and tools that empower the rest of the company to deliver products and services to our clients.
We're a dynamic group and use a variety of tools. Here's some of our tech stack you may have the opportunity to be exposed to - outside of your responsibilities:
Ruby/Ruby on Rails

Design, Develop and Maintain applications and tools that help drive the company's revenue production and meet business objectives
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Stakeholders to:
o Identify/clarify requirements
o Refine User Stories/Functional Specs
o Test implementations
o Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
o Prioritize work
Help ensure software quality by writing and conducting tests
Maintain and enhance software quality standards (including usability, maintainability, performance)
Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving
Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
Proficiency in C# or other .Net languages with at least 3 years of proven experience
Working knowledge of MVC or MVVM design patterns
Desired - Experience working with technologies like WPF, LINQ, and Entity Framework
Desired - Proficiency in SQL or similar database language (SQL Server and Postgres very strongly preferred)
Desired - Strong understanding of relational database theory, practice, and design
Desired - Familiarity with Design Patterns (Factory, Facade, Observer, etc.) - provided by Dice .Net/C#/WPF/EF, SQL Server/Postgres
