Leading Investment Bank is seeking an expert C#/GUI Developer for their Equity Derivatives Trading team. This team is on the cutting-edge of WPF technology and the new hire must have a strong understanding of developing usable and functional user interfaces using advanced WPF features. This role interfaces with various local and remote technology teams and requires an individual that is comfortable with various aspects of technology (i.e. Architecture, Infrastructure, Database, and Software development).
Technology is at the cornerstone of the company’s trading systems and the candidate must passionate about C#/GUI development, be an advocate of unit testing and agile development and possess of true understanding of how WPF works behind the scenes.
Financial experience (Equities/Equity Derivatives) is desired but not required!
Required:
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or similar field
Advanced knowledge/understanding of WPF
Extensive experience with .NET 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 (TPL, RX, differences between features in frameworks, etc…)
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Understanding of modern messaging architectures (Tibco, MQ, etc)
Strong advocate of Unit Testing and Agile Development
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
