Position at ActioNet ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a C# Developer requiring a Public Trust Clearance Level located in Silver Spring, MD. Are you ready to join our great Web Development team? You would be responsible for building and updating existing C# applications; including back and Front End counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
You will join a close-knit and highly technical team of web developers and systems administrators that support and provide web development to Ocean and Atmospheric Research (OAR) entities using DotNet Nuke (DNN) and other applications. This is a standard workweek environment supporting the NOAA customers across the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
At least 1 year of experience in web module and form development utilizing C# within a. Net framework.
At least 1 year of experience with developing web based forms that communication with SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git Hub)
Familiar with NETAJAX UI framework controls
Familiar with Visual Studio 2016
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
