Job Summary of the Senior Software Engineer - Robotics:
Senior Software Engineer with a strong coding background is needed to play a vital role in the design and development of the embedded software for one of our clients in Michigan area. This client is a global player in the filed of medical device and they are continually developing new and exciting technologies. In this role you will be responsible for software development using C++ for middleware applications. If you come along with strong knowledge of software engineering with C++ and middleware, then this position is well suited to you. You will be part of a 200 person engineering team with lots of growth opportunity this is a top performing company that has been awarded national acclamation as one of the best places in the country to work. You may qualify if you have as little as 1 year of solid C++ experience or a seasoned veteran!!!!
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer - Robotics:
Plan and conduct software requirements analysis and design.
Software development for the control complex electro-mechanical systems.
Validation of programs functionality with other team members and users.
Get involved in the whole process of software development life cycle starting from the initial stages to the final product release
Qualifications of the Senior Software Engineer - Robotics:
BS in CS, CE, EE or other degree focused on Software Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
At least 1 year of SOLID experience with C++ hard coding
Strong hard coding C++ skills is a MUST (object oriented is a must)
Experience with signal processing and control systems is a PLUS
RTOS is a PLUS
Preferred Qualification - Experience with Robotics control, UML and VxWorks
Experience in designing embedded systems, network communications and protocols
3+ years of middleware SW development
Conversant with C++11 core-language features
Compensation of the Senior Software Engineer - Robotics:
Salary Range: 85 to 140K, depending on experience
Location: Stevensville, MI
Travel: As and when required
Relocation Assistance: Yes
Visa Sponsorship: H1B transfers only. NO OPT/F1
