We are looking for developers that are principled in approach to software design, development, and SDLC methodologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a production environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our clients are looking for C software developers to join teams of engineers solving interesting computer science problems including but not limited to: scalability, thread synchronization, run-time and compile time optimization, latency, caching, throughput, concurrency, network, and socket issues to name a few. There are also roles that are less hardcore on the lower level challenges and require strong communication skills to work with the business users.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
Experience with C (templates, boost, STL) on UNIX/Linux/Windows
Rock-solid data structures, searching/sorting time and space complexity, and design patterns
Really, really good multithreading. And if you understand lock-free data structures than that’s a big plus
Preferred Skills
Experience developing real-time, distributed, client/server applications
Proficiency with relational databases / SQL development
Proficiency with scripting languages (Perl/Python, etc.)
