The “Goto” attitude has been deemed as dangerous in the computer programmer’s world. Allowing destruction to destroy data structures could pose hazards that should be avoided. The theory here is to understand the program and be able to determine its properties. Entering in a goto statement into a program is freeing too much memory and you won’t be able to control where it goes.
